Please read thoroughly before placing your order. These terms and conditions are a contract between us (Dee’s Wedding Designs) and you (the customer) and are deemed to have been accepted by you when you place an order with us. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms then please refrain from ordering with us.
Ordering and Cancellation
Your order will be considered to have been placed once Dee’s Wedding Designs are in receipt of your completed order form and payment.
If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of the order being placed, 95% of the order value will be refunded. If an order is cancelled after this time, no refund will be given.
Payment
We accept the following payment methods, Major Credit or debit Cards (Vis Paypal) Cheque, Cash (if collecting in person) or postal order. Please note if posting your payment it is your responsibility to use a reliable/insured postal service, we cannot be held responsible for payments that go missing or are delayed by the postal service you use. Prices are subject to change without notice, any price changes will not affect orders that have been confirmed by payment of a deposit.
Lead Times
The lead time for Invitations is normally 4-5 weeks from order. This may fluctuate depending on our workload and time of year but you will be informed if this is the case.
It is your responsibility to ensure that information for your stationery is supplied to Dee’s Wedding Designs at the correct time. We are not be responsible for contacting you to ask for this.
The lead times quoted shall run from the date that you have supplied Dee’s Wedding Designs all of the following:
a) payment;
b) approval of proof/sample wording (for invitations);
c) any other required wording for stationery items e.g Menus; and
d) guest list (if applicable).
For urgent orders, a quicker delivery timescale may be agreed. In such circumstances, the lead times above shall not apply.
Delivery
Deliveries will be sent to your invoice address, unless we are informed of a different delivery address at the time of ordering. Deliveries will need to be signed for upon receipt. Orders may occasionally be completed within a few days of ordering. If you are going to be away at any time during the 4 weeks after ordering you should inform Dee’s Wedding Designs so that these periods can be avoided for delivery.
You must make all reasonable endeavours to accept deliveries from Dee’s Wedding Designs. If the courier attempts to deliver your parcel and leaves a ‘While you were out’ card but you do not contact them to arrange re-delivery, the parcel will be returned to Dee’s Wedding Designs and you will be required to pay another delivery charge for the parcel to be re-sent. The Lead Times quoted above and any delivery estimate given is an estimate only. On very rare occasions, delays in obtaining materials from suppliers may cause the estimated delivery date to be pushed back. Dee’s Wedding Designs cannot accept responsibility for this, but will keep you informed of progress.
Dee’s Wedding Designs cannot guarantee delivery on any particular date. If you require stationery to arrive on a particular date we will do our best to arrange the delivery accordingly but cannot guarantee this.

IMPORTANT: Dee’s Wedding Designs cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery due to circumstances out of our control, such as postal strikes or adverse weather conditions. We shall not be liable for any losses, damages or expenses incurred by the customer arising out of any delays in delivery or damage or loss during transit.
Proofs
Once order is placed Dee’s Wedding Designs shall send a proof by e-mail for approval. You are responsible for checking all wording, spelling, grammar and punctuation on proofs and samples to ensure that it is correct. You will be required to confirm this when you place your order. Once confirmation/approval is received, no alterations can be made. Any amendments required after the wording has been approved will incur an additional charge.No proofs will be supplied for stationery other than invitations, unless specifically requested.
Supply of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information sent to Dee’s Wedding Designs is correct. This includes spellings of guest names for invitations, table plans and any other items. Printing of stationery may begin immediately after the information/guest list is received, and therefore no amendments can be accepted after such information is sent to us.
Refunds
As all stationery is made to order, and as such, we regret that we cannot offer refunds. Any defects or errors with goods must be reported to Dee’s Wedding Designs by email within 48 hours of the goods being received by the customer. After 48 hours, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted by you. In the event that the error reported is a typographical error by Dee’s Wedding Designs (i.e it differs from the guest list or wording supplied by the customer) Dee’s Wedding Designs shall replace the item(s) affected. In these circumstances you may be required to return the item(s), in original packaging, if requested to do so by Dee’s Wedding Designs. Dee’s Wedding Designs will either arrange for the package to be collected by a courier or shall ask you to return it by Royal Mail and reimburse you for the postage cost. Replacement items shall be sent out as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT: We accept no responsibility and will not refund or reprint stationery where proofs have been approved by you prior to printing. It is therefore vital that you ensure that the information and guest names given to Dee’s Wedding Designs at the time of placing your order are correct. Dee’s Wedding Designs accepts no responsibility for carrying out a spell check.
Prices
The prices of goods are listed on our website and exclude delivery. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
Quotes remain valid for a period of 6 months from the date on the quote and shall not be affected by any price increases during this period.
Website
Dee’s Wedding Designs makes every effort to ensure that all information contained on our website is correct and to ensure that the descriptions and images are a true representation of our products. Materials and colours cannot always be accurately displayed on a computer screen, we therefore recommend that you order a sample to ensure a precise colour match before placing any order.
Variations
Due to the stationery being handcrafted there may be slight variations in each item produced. Where items are purchased at different stages (split orders) we cannot guarantee an exact colour match to previous orders, although we do our utmost to avoid any obvious changes in colour for you. On occasion discontinuation of supplies may occur. We try to ensure that all of the items shown on the website are accurately represented however slight variations in colour, typefaces and layout may be experienced. In all instances you will be notified immediately prior to production to discuss options available to you.
Copyright and Data Protection
Dee’s Wedding Designs will not share your personal details with any third party and will not send you any marketing material. We reserve the right to use images of your stationery on our website. All stationery designs on our website are the sole property of Dee’s Wedding Designs and shall not be copied or reproduced in whole or in part, whether for business or personal use. Any infringement of copyright of our designs shall be vigorously pursued and will result in legal action.
All images and text on this website are the property of Dee’s Wedding Designs (unless otherwise credited) and must not be copied or reproduced without prior consent. It is your responsibility to obtain the correct copyright permission for hymns, readings or pictures to be included in your stationery. You agree to indemnify Dee’s Wedding Designs against any action for breach of copyright of such items.
Storage of Stationery
Liability for loss and damage of products passes to you upon delivery or on the date of the first attempted delivery by the courier or Royal Mail.
Stationery should be stored flat where possible, and in any event must be stored in a dry environment at room temperature. If exposed to damp or very hot/cold conditions, stationery may become bent or damaged and this is not a fault of the product.
